The Skete of Saint Demetrius of Lakkoskete
The Lakkoskete as it is usually called is located between the small Athos and Antiathos in a ravine. The area was inhabited by monks in the 14th century. It was formed in a Skete in 1764. The Kyriako of the Skete was built in 1901. It is inhabited by few Romanian monks, belonging to the Holy Monastery of St. Paul.
