Blessed and handmade by Athonite Monks! This collection includes Prayer Ropes of various shapes and sizes, made of silk, wood or wool. The ropes are woven according to a Athonite tradition, that goes back in the centuries. There are many kinds of prayer ropes. Some are woven but some other are more luxurious and made of silk. The beads are often made of a dried flower of a plant called “tears of the Virgin”.
