The hagiography has been crafted on aged wood, by father Pefkis, graduate of the Athonite Ecclesiastical Academy, and stands out thanks to its gold background and the handmade details.

In the iconography of the Crucifixion, Virgin Mary expresses with her look the pain that she feels for her Son. On the right side, John, the beloved disciple, bows his head expressing sorrow.

The iconography has been crafted on natural wood while the background is adorned with ormolu leaves. It has been painted in the hagiography workshop of father Peukis, former student of the Athonite Academy on Mount Athos, and has been covered with pure beeswax in order to withstand the ravages of time.
