Mylopotamos, the largest holding of the Holy Monastery of Great Lavra on Mount Athos, is built in a stunning location and a place that is absolutely favored by the climatic conditions. With much love and appetite monk Epiphanius and his entourage revived a thousand years old winemaking tradition continuing with reverence the work of the old Athonite winegrowers and producing excellent monastic products.
The White aromatic wine of Mylopotamos is characterized by the ethereal coexistence of the Muscat of Alexandria and Roditis and comes from the carefully selected grapes of the organic vineyards. It distinguishes among the other products of Mt Athos, has a pleasant acidity and is characterized by its fruity aromas of unripe apple, peach and kiwi. It leaves pleasant sensations on the palate and is served chilled at 10-12 degrees Celsius with salads, seafood, meats, cheeses and fruits. A light and attractive wine that is drunk easily is filled with aromas and is loved not only in Greece but also abroad.
