Description

This artwork, made by monk Prodromos from the Skete of Saint Anne, Minor on Mount Athos, was painted in 1986 and depicts the Hut in the form that it had in 1980, before the death of Elder Gerasimos the Hymnographer. The 70 year old Father Prodromos, in between his deaconship and prayer takes his brushes and with his own artistic approach, presents several scenes of the Mount Athos desert.

The Hut of the Assumption is perhaps the oldest of the cloister of St. Anne, Minor. This copy, original monastic product, is attributed with the printing process: Fine art giclee and Nielsen frame. It is available in luxury packaging and has been imprinted on Camvas Innora 100% cotton.
