Hut of Holy Prodromos

This artwork of the monk Prodromos from the Skete of Little Agia Anna has been crafted in 1986 and the hut of Holy Prodromos is depicted as it was in 1980.

Father Prodromos, even though he is over seventy, spends his time between prayer and diaconia and when he finds time, gets his brushes and with his own artistic approach he presents us with various points mainly of the Desert of Mount Athos.

His love for nature is obvious. Varied contrasts, harmonies and rhythmic repetitions, color harmonies in various tones and combinations, duly tied into a “calm” but robust geometric structure, ensure the desired results in its compositions. Based on his works, he produces his own handiwork.
