This is an icon which is crafted with the method of silk screen painting. The iconographer used until the last detail the standards of Byzantine style with the vivid colours which are made with traditional materials such as eggs. This is a collectible icon from the workshop of father Pefkis for whom every icon is crafted with a sense of responsibility and with absolute dedication to the traditional techniques. The colors are processed mainly with egg and other traditional material and the surface is covered with a pure beeswax to keep it intact from the passage of time with bright colors.
