Greek frumenty made with a traditional monastery recipe. Frumenty is a small treasure of the Greek cuisine, since it is a product with high nutritional value that confers significant health benefits. Its high phosphorus content provides protection against osteoporosis while the carotenoid lutein that it contains contributes to the good health of the skin, eyes and heart. Consumed as a soup or cooked with beans and vegetables, it accompanies harmoniously meat dishes while it is also used as filling for pies, even in meatballs in place of bread. This exceptional monastery product is produced in Greece from the Holy Monastery of Saint Panteleimon, Amyntaio. It is available from the Mount Athos product exhibition.
