Sour frumenty is named like that because it contains sour yogurt while it is a product low in fat and calories. Consumed as a soup or cooked with beans, it accompanies harmoniously meat dishes while it is also used as filling for pies. This exceptional monastery product is produced in Greece from the Holy Monastery of Saint Panteleimon, Amyntaio. It is available from the Mount Athos product exhibition.
