The feast day of Saint Menas of Egypt is celebrated on November 11.

The holy, glorious and right-victorious Martyr Menas the Wonder-worker is one of the most well known Saints in the East and the West, due to the many miracles that are performed through his intercessions. His feast day is celebrated on November 11 in the Greek Orthodox Church.  In this specific iconography, Saint Menas is depicted with his military attire.

Using a lithographed copy of Byzantine art, Nectarios Nestos created this artwork according to the traditional method of artificial aging that was taught to him on Mt Athos. In the hagiography he has paid special attention to the handcrafted details.

It is available via the Mount Athos product exhibition.
