In the Orthodox iconography the halo, which in this specific hagiography has been crafted with the «tsoukani» technique, i.e. the pure gold is carved with «tsoukani», discloses the sense of glory that the depicted person radiates.

He is wearing a bluish tunic and a red cloak that is decorated with gold on the neck. On the right and left side of the Saint, in the background made of pure gold, the red sign writes: SAINT PANTELEIMON.
With his right hand he is holding forceps while with his left one a small wooden box. His rich curly hair is similar to St. George’s.
